How We Got Started
Interest in family relationships started when our Founder was about ten years old. She had a crush on a boy and couldn’t wait to tell her mom. She listened—and then promptly shut it down by revealing a crucial detail: the boy was her cousin!
That surprising (and slightly embarrassing) moment sparked a lifelong curiosity about how people are connected. We’ve been piecing together family trees and unraveling ancestral stories ever since.
